I will finish my Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) Bachelor's degree at ETH Zurich Summer 2022.
With my CSE studies and specialization in computational astrophysics, I am gaining a deeper understanding of mathematics and computer science in addition to broadening my interests and knowledge in a wider range of fields such as physics and chemistry.
After my graduation with honors from high school in June 2018, I took a gap year in Japan. While there, I was able to explore the country and learn about the Japanese culture, and had the opportunity to teach English to elementary school children in Gotenba.
In summer 2017, I interned at a laser optics laboratory at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI) in Innsbruck, Austria, where I had the opportunity to take a peek at the exciting world of quantum physics and photonics while gaining work experience in a real lab. I was praised by my supervisors for completing my tasks very quickly and efficiently, giving me the time for additional experiments.
In my 2016 and 2017 internships at the Institute for Networked and Embedded Systems at the Lakeside Labs in Klagenfurt, Austria, I programmed the Sulfurous Scratch player, one of the first Scratch players to make use of the WebGL technology for fast in-browser rendering.
